Lenovo X60T

I picked up an X60T to replace my Acer C204. It was an 6366AJU. It came with XP Tablet Edition 2005. I did some installs and played around some. The machine was nice, but not the WOW that I had with my first tablet (Averatec) or when I got a real tablet (the Acer). The machine is well built and very light. I like the docking station with the built in DVD.

I popped in a new 7200 RPM drive and did a clean install of Vista Premium. The Lenovo update program went out and grabbed all the things I needed for the Thinkpad utilities. It took a few passes, but it all seems to be working nicely.

The machine is snappy. I have an experience rating of 3.1. Most of the installs are done and I've been settling into my routine with the tablet. The tablet is very nice, but not great. I like the size, the battery life and the feel of inking. The screen (at 1400X1050) is nice, but these 50 year old eyes have some difficulty reading the screen at times.
